Bad news . You'd think that at this point much more care should be given with rhinos. thumbdown

I would like to see the uproar from the fake animal lovers!

You know the ones.

They raise hell because a hunter pays thousands of dollars to hunt an old rhino past his useful life, so the money can help other rhinos.

They are awfully quiet on this, as this happened quite a while back! Mad

Typical Communist News Network reportage.

Dr Richard Leakey, former chairman of the wildlife board, has released a statement clarifying that permission for the relocation was denied by the board, but went ahead anyway. Now you have civil servant doing his best "I am not the one" in the press.

Reading between the lines, the relocation had to have been pushed by factions of the "Donate now!" activists who basically control the Kenya Wildlife Service anyway.

My take, anyway.

I was in Tsavo some years ago, it's not an easy place and everything there has earned it's right to exist in that environment.

Bloodyminded stupidity..... Pure and simple!
