Just finished a hunt in Makuti.I should get a report up in a few days.

I did a ten day hunt with R.Tabor.We took two old dagas.One with polished and broken tipped horns.
We also took a zebra from really close up and a big tuskless cow. All with open sights.It was nice to return to Makuti.On the first night while I was in bed and about to go to sleep,I heard a male lion call out loud about fifty meters away.

It was no further than a hundred yds.It did send the cook and waiter running to their tents.I could feel the rumbling of his lungs.He did not return after that.

It sure is.As soon as I saw this valley I had a vision of being married in the centre of it.I joked and told this to Doug the cameraman.He said that he was sure Richard could arrange things if I wanted to-lol.The whole Makuti area had really dried up by the time of our hunt.Nearly all the springs in the mountains had no water- even springs in Gota Gota that Richard said always kept water.
