Like you, I thought it of interest that a name that is associated with exotic inlays and women with the highest of high heels was selling a gun that takes cork sniffing to the very highest level

Wonder if that is Ed Weatherby's son Mike Weatherby who is selling the 600 NE and asking 395K? Wonder who was the original purchaser, Mike, or Ed?



It could have been an R&D tax write off, now served its purpose.

To think we might have had a Weatherby brand double rifle in 600 Weatherby caliber patterned after the Purdey, but it didn't work out.

Didn't Mike Weatherby buy a H&H 600 NE at an SCI auction a few years ago for $300K? I would think the Purdey would be worth quite a bit more.
