I got it to open and run, just took a little bit to download first.
The commentator said that it won't have to eat again for up to a year, so no worry about this guy for a while.

In 2008 I hunted with Mark Neal who sadly passed away, he was a contributor on AR as Brumble. One morning we hunted next to the river, it was in February, the grass was very tall at that time. We were slowly moving along the river with me in front. I usually scan the area in front of me and then I look for animals. When I looked down to the ground again, my foot was inches above the head of a python. I got airborne in reverse (till today I cannot figure out how I did it) and landed on top of Mark, who was a couple of meters behind me. On inspecting the python, it had an what we presumed an impala for breakfast. Unfortunately we did not have a camera with us.

Thinking back, it was an amazing experience, it is not something you see every day.

A year? Sure, a big snake can survive that long without food, but not if it could help it.

Reptiles HAVE to digest big meals fairly quickly, or else it would decompose inside them. And once it is digested, I'm sure it would try eat again if the opportunity arose and if it was warm enough!

Recently saw photos of one here that looked like it must have had a sitatunga calf inside it...
