Nowhere does it say that Buzz loves me the best.

Will, good to see you in such a festive holiday mood! Smiler

I think Norbert gets Buzz's "dearest client" award. He hunted with him like 200 times I think...

Keep booking hunts w/the same PH and you will be loved too!

That's a fact, but in my dealings with Kirsty to date I think she is going to carry on the tradition of cheerful service that Carla established.

Somehow we got off track here...and that's all I'm going to say about that!

I haven't talked to Kirsty yet. For those who were interested in the outcome of Guy's written exams, he didn't pass but he's young and has time. I understand they are not easy.

Having met Guy, I am guessing that studying for the exam was not high on his priority list, and I cannot blame him. I am quite confident that he finds little difficulty in finding young ladies in Zim to distract him from the task at hand. Let me think, I can chase skirts or study, . . . I think I will study, not.

He will get there.

Mike - have you decided what you will be taking on your ele hunt this year, the double or the CZ?

Bill,

Here is my current thinking -- good until the earlier of 1:21 p.m. CST today or when I change my mind yet again:

Take the Chapuis .470 NE as the main rifle (with 500 grain North Forth FPS) and a .458 Win Mag that Tip Burns is finishing up on an FN action. The .458 has a Shilen barrel and NECG sights and will be in a full length alumium pillar bedded (and steel bedded) Bell and Carlson stock. I found the CZ a bit heavy to lug around and wood stock guns can take a beating too.

Why not the 500? I would be itching to use one of them myself and take the bolt gun for backup.

The .470 is (i) more accurate, and (ii) more pleasant to shoot. I think it is important to use something that you are comfortable with.
