May God bless you and your families with health, wealth happiniess and many hunts. Thanks Saeed. I haved a weakness for " Eid El Kebir" sorry for the spelling. At this moment I am in French Equ because it's the epitome of the dry season and though the best way to track game down from the scarce water-holes. Joyeux Ramadan!

Eid Mubarak to everyone - this is a festival that I dearly miss in the USA as the superb hospitality of my Muslim friends and their sinfully delicious Mughlai cooking is something that is just not available here - at least not the authentic stuff. Kensco, I hated Diwali in India because of the noise the firecrackers made but have celebrated it here on a belated basis at the Rifle Club. Thanks, my friend and I hope you enjoy the different cuisines on both days! May the future bring the most pleasant hunts to everyone here

Eid Mubarak and a Happy Diwali,To all the muslims and the Hindus out there. Here in zambia we have a very small community hence it is a very close knit society. It was a wonderful weekend with both the hindus and the muslims celebrating together. Now we are sitting tight and waiting to celebrate Christmas.

The best thing about this thread is that not many Americans responded. While all this Eid Mubarak! sounds so nice there are troops fighting Islam religious people. Mike

What I notice about Diwali is that the Indian's stretch out their fireworks over a 24-hour period ..... for days and days. The Venezuelans, on the other hand will light up the entire sky for about an hour on New Year's; an absolutely massive show; then crank up the Merengue and Salsa to max-volume, dance and down the beer and rum 'til the sun comes up. The Brazilians have already gone to bed long before the Venezuelans, and the Indians will still be shooting crackers when everyone else has gone hopelessly horizontal.
