Brothers fend off lion trying to kill cows August 09 2004 at 01:05PM Nairobi - Three brothers were recovering in hospital on Monday after fighting a lion that was trying to kill the animals they were herding, local media reported. The lion had killed several goats and was eyeing the cows when the three men made an attempt to save the animals, said a report in the Daily Nation newspaper. During the half-hour wrestling match, the men suffered injuries to their head, legs and hands, and one of the men had his stomach pierced by the lion's claws. The herdsmen's dogs escaped. Kenya Wildlife Service rangers were still searching for the lion late on Sunday night. The incident took place in Narok, a small town on the road between capital Nairobi and famous wild life reserve Masai Mara in southern Kenya. A local official demanded the lions be moved to the game reserve or the residents would start killing the predators. "Whenever a lion is killed, residents are harassed and arrested, but when people are attacked by the animals, no action is taken", said area councillor Keringoti ole Sadera. - Sapa-dpa

The three toughest brothers in the USA are the Dude brothers. Every time we got a gun or knife fight loser into the ER I would ask: "So, who shot you?" The answer was always "Some dude.", "This dude.", or "A dude.". What is the most dangerous activity in the USA? You guessed it. "What were you doing when you were shot?" "Mindin my own bidness."

Oh No! Tell me you don't have Dudes in Idaho. I guess they are spreading rapidly. I have taken care of my share of dudes and thought Idaho might not have them.
