Dumb question, but can baboons be called in with a predator call like coyotes and jackals?
If so what's the best sound to use?

yes you can call them, and you can try something else as well. Once they are spotting, to imitate the male challenge "bark", they usually stick around and "bark" back, giving you more time for a shot.
