Dear friends,

I'm still in Africa as I write these lines. It's been a long safari, starting May 6th in the Zambezi Valley, continuing on to Botswana, South Africa's Eastern Cape, and finishing up here in northern Namibia. Obviously I'm not complaining--but be careful what you wish for! We've been filming television segments for our Tracks Across Africa show on The Outdoor Channel, and we've also been completing the "field work" for our next DVD project, Boddington On Buffalo 2. But there's a lot of work remaining on that project, so more about that later. I have been fortunate to take a nice old dagga boy with Andrew Dawson, followed by a great bull elephant with Johan Calitz in Botswana and have just taken a nice leopard at 5:00 in the evening here in Namibia. These hunts were captured nicely on camera and will be featured on upcoming episodes of Tracks Across Africa.

Speaking of Tracks Across Africa…I would like to thank all of you who have written, called or stopped me at a show to offer positive comments and encouragement regarding the show. Your support has made “Tracks†one of the highest rated shows in outdoor programming. I am continually asked if our shows can be purchased. I got that email this morning too. I haven't seen a single show yet and wonder how good a highlight DVD might be?
