The term "mickey mouse lion" seems to be generally used to describe a captive bred and released lion - that is one with no scars. This lion is a good example of what is NOT a mickey mouse lion!

These are the caliber of lions we try to shoot in Masailand. Success is 65%-75% in these areas. One has your name on it.

Andrew, the lion that we shot this year on our Masailand hunt had a flawless face and body without any scar, so I guess that the scar theory is not always correct.
