Nick Tried the link, nothing. It came up blank. Lo do they call to me, They bid me take my place among them in the Halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever.

Oddly enough, even the link that African Sporting Gazette sent directly to my e-mail didn't work either.

quote: Thank you! I just never get satisified with pictures taken. Well, the qualtiy seems pretty good on slides, but when I scan them and put them out on my website, I can`t get them right. To dark, to light, blurred.. I also find taking trophy photos in Africa difficult. The light conditions seems perfect. But some parts of the picture is to light, while others are covered in shades. And I have tried using the flashlight (blitz). I might need a separate bigger one.. Any tips on scanning and photography? The bulk of my photographic insight is pre-digital, I'm afraid. However, I have learned quite a bit about scanning, in recent years. If I can locate it, I have an excellent email from a scanning expert, I'd like to send you.

That would be perfect! I have a lot to learn I guess.. Here`s my e-mail adress: amossing@hotmail.com No rush however. When you have time.. I have thought of going digital. But I will miss a lot of things related to old fashion photography. Waiting for the package of developed pictures. You always get surprises, good or bad. I will also miss the sounds and athmosphere of a slide-show. Talking to friends about the hunt, and sipping whiskey.. Thank you! Just read through it pretty quickly, and I`m already better prepared than before. I`ll definatly use this link as well. From now on all my scanning will be done with great care. I hunted Namibia 2004 and posted a hunting report. Now I think I will post a report from our round-trip as well.. Namibia, Botswana and Zambia with pictures of course... Feel free to forward a few pictures so I can try to improve them with my software and send them back to you. In most cases, I have been successful to some degree. _ Nick

That sounds great. I think I will do that. But I really don`t know yet, when I have time. To busy with school in morning/daytime (finishing my master degree) and work in the evenings (money for hunting) at the moment. And I don`t own a scanner. Have to use one on school, so it`s pretty limited now a days.. I will make contact with you later then..
