Excellent. Let's hope the airlines get their head out off their ass.

About time something like this happened.

Maybe send a copy to the USFWS and the EU council. Time they quit operating in a way that undermines the CITES as well.

In the battle for the hearts and minds of the global community over hunting (though not exclusively hunting), it is imperative that the public has access to the thoughts, actions and especially documents of organizations like CITES (and it's CITES, by the way, not CITIES).

Not quite as significant are the thoughts and actions of extremely well-informed persons like CITES Past-Presidents Wijnstekers and Lapointe. Still, they are important, as is disbursement of them via sites like FaceBook (etc.).

Posting a copy of this letter here is interesting and informative, but of little value in this battle.

What is needed is a link to a copy of the original letter, AND (and this is important) a series of share-link buttons to FaceBook, Twitter, Linked-In, Pinterest (etc). See HERE and HERE.

So what happens is that you post a copy of the document, press-release, ruling, case-law (or whatever) here - along with a link to the original document, AND the series of social media links .

Then, readers can just go click, click, click, click, click, and just like that, instantaneously, it's all over the web.

And finally, in order for that to happen (in this case), CF needs to post the letter on a separate page in PDF, and not just leave it added on to the bottom of a 4-page "Special Supplement ".

'dja get all that? Smiler

CITES needs to send a similar letter to BO and USFWS.

Very good letter

"We would like to see those organizations and groups involved that supposedly support the objectives of CITES stop their misguided and damaging actions against CITES decisions and the conservation of wildlife species"

USFWS falls into this category ....

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

Agree with Jines. A letter with current members needs to be generated.
