This just in from John Jackson of Conservation Force: FYI - FWS has changed its mind and is releasing the leopards from Namibia that were seized in NY because the tag info was etched instead of stamped or pre-printed. Turns out to have been some imaginative Law Enforcement by the inspectors ultimately reversed by Washington Law Enforcement headquarters that is feeling the heat. Great! Now, can we have the "imaginative" employee fired?

Very good news. Thanks to John Jackson and Conservation Force! "There are worse memorials to a life well-lived than a pair of elephant tusks." Robert Ruark

This is great news as my father and I prepare for our elephant and leopard hunt in namibia in just over a month's time. Thaks for the update. I just hope that they don't change their minds again in the meantime... Is there a way of holding these people accountable by suing them or charging them for wrongful harrassment etc.? "When the wind stops....start rowing. When the wind starts, get the sail up quick."
