Writing from the Premier Lounge in JoBurg. Just finished my 11 day safari in Chirisa. Great trip, took bull elephant (on the last day), buffalo, zebra and a baboon. Will submit a full report and pictures (if I can figure that out) in a few days.

Bumped elephant virtually every day, quite a few buff were seen as well. The rains have dispersed the plainsgame somewhat but I saw a number of animals each day. More to come......

Looking forward to it. That's what you call a LATE season hunt. I don't remember who he went with?

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Congrats David. Look forward to your report.

I know he hunted with CMS - can't remember if it was Myles or Allan.

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Alan's last hunt is already over (leopard). I guess it would have been Myles as Buzz is done also.

Gents,

About to board my flight to Paris (then Houston, Houston to Memphis, then Memphis to Nashville...I will never see my luggage again!). My PH was Ryan Millwarde of Ingwe Safaris. My safari was booked with CMS and the PH was to be Myles but he had some last minute family matters arise. Ryan was great ( would recommend without reservation) as was CMS in making this a great safari. Buzz was kind enough to let me stay at his place both on arrival as well as last night (as well as an invitation to the CMS Christmas party last night). A first class operation. Have to sign off now and head to the gate. Full report and pictures forthcoming......

I hunted with Ryan in Dande South in 2005. That was his first year hunting. We had a great time and I took a tuskless elephant, buffalo and a nice bushbuck.
