Which countries do we not see?.

Being here on the forum for a few years, we see a lot of posters from different countries.
But which from which countries do we not see any representation from?.
We know that there are countries who generally denies it´s population firearms/hunting for sport or countries where there is no established tradition for hunting in their own country or going abroad.
If I start here it could be interesting to narrow down which countries we never see here:

North Korea
China
Most Arab speaking countries
Most African countries
Japan
Asian nations like Afganistan
White Russia
Ceylon

It boils down to probably earning potential, political situation and culture of hunting in those countries and of course freedom of speech and freedom in general.
Missed something?

Iran...
I lived in Iran for a couple of years (1969-1971) in the Peace Corps. Some of my co-workers were avid hunters, mostly birds, and I had a pump shotgun on hand at my job on a sheep feedlot development project. I hunted a couple of types of birds, a quail like one (Tayhoo) that damn near never flew but certainly could and another sort of like a grouse (Bagergerai) but went around in flocks. Also shot several foxes and jackels. Anyhow there was at the time a hunter population and I heard about hunting assorted mountain goat like animals. Haven't heard a word about hunting in Iran since.

I would like to see more countries represented here but I enjoy the diversity of views of the countries we have. Hunting culture world wide has more in common than it has differences. I have always felt that if hunters ran the world it would be a better place.

I do not know where White Russia is, but I do know a White Russian when I taste it. beer

Most of the African countries with a resident population of professional hunters are represented here on the forum

Japan does not totally prohibit the private ownership of sporting firearms, but there are relatively very few hunters there and they are typically limited to those who are financially rather well to do. Ironic, considering how many rifles and shotguns Japan currently produces.

Not sure if applicable here, but censorship may play into this. I recall trying to log into AR in heathrow while in route to Zambia and was unable..... Screen said something to the effect that the website I was seeking was unavailable due to its content. Food for thought..... It may have been the ISP policy, but I was kinda surprised especially knowing we have many Brits who post here

I really think this website doesn't just represent hunters, but it represents free thinking world, where we can express ourselves without worrying about any kinda persecution, censorship or repercussions of saying what we think.
You are right twoseventy, if hunters in general ran this world we all would be better off.
We can start with USFWP being run by hunters and fisherman.

There is hunting in Japan, but frankly it is such a pain in the butt to get licensed and to possess firearms or other weapons locally that few bother.

About China
I'm the editor of Game Trails Online, the official online magazine of the Dallas Safari Club. Part of my job is to study where our readers come from. I've been super surprised that China generally ranks in the top ten. One week they were second only to the US, and no, these aren't just webcrawlers but actual readers.
Apparently people in China are interested in hunting

First off, You need a computer. Second, internet accress. Most poor peoples don't have either. Thay are busy living their lives. Some are hunting not for sport or recreation but to live. I do think you have an interesting point/observation.
