The flops hurt, for sure, and more than just financially (I'm sitting at home this year - the year of the bargain - because the "cure" blew the budget along with some other considerations.) But truth be told, its "better" for the veteran to have to overcome than the first timers who haven't had the benefit of truly successful safaris. Odd as it seems you and I were "lucky" when our number came up for a tough one. We'll go back because we know what can be, and even if we don't we have our memories.
