Hi Guys,

I'm writing this with mixed feelings, on the one hand really glad to see the hunters and gun enthusiasts stand up for what they believe in and win this battle with Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show but on the other hand pretty depressed at the fact that we cant exhibit at the show anymore to promote our African outfitting business, meet and make new friends and we just lost quite a bit of cash along the way ie plane tickets, hotels marketing material etc

To the exhibitors, i just got off the phone with a lady from Eastern sports and outdoor show and she said that they will post on their website the procedure to follow to get our money back that we paid for the booths for the Harrisburg show on the 1st February. ( I'll be suprised if we get that cash back!) No refunds will be made for hotel reservations, flights or any of the other expenses that we have already incurred.

Just want to find out what the other African outfitters are planning on doing now during that 9 day period they set aside for the show?

The event organisers at the Eastern sports and outdoor show are just a bunch of assholes- you really screwed up this time guys. Guns dont kill people - people kill people YOU IDIOTS! By the way i feel you guys at the Eastern sports and outdoor show have handled this whole situation very poorly, you have'nt kept the exhibitors updated at all, in fact i just got off the phone with two of my friends whom are also African outfitters and were going to exhibit at your show, and they did'nt have a clue about the situation of other exhibitors pulling out of the show, never mind the fact that it is now postponed ( cancelled !) You guys will never see my business again!

Congrats to everyone who stood up for their rights! Hope to see you guys at the Nashville Wild Turkey Federation show 14- 17 Feb.

Regards

Murray

I feel badly for the outfitters that depend on the Hsbg show to book their lively hood and hope that they can survive the season.. And would encourage them to seek legal remuneration for the cancellation... I hope I get the jury duty![B]

From what I understand, it is the same Promoter that put on the SHOT show last week.... they had no issues with AR's there!

The exhibitors should sign up for the Eastern FNAWS show. I was told that the show was offering good deals to sign up for their FNAWS show. Hopefully Reed Expositions is put out of of business and more pro second amendment and pro hunting groups take up the void.
From what I understand, Reed tried this same crap with the SHOT Show but was put in their place. It is time to stand up to these groups and promote organizations that share our values.
I am happy and surprised that the vendors stood up and took a stand that will be be noticed and respected. It is a start.

Buy an NRA membership for anyone in your circle of family and friends who will appreciate and act on it.
