I'm selling the tickets in South Africa and Germany, it is for a very worthwhile cause. The money that is raised will go towards the anti poaching unit for the Save Valley Conservancy. This unit will be used mainly to protect the rhino but will be used on other anti poaching activities as well. They are trying to protect the rhino in the Conservancy and believe their numbers are diminishing rapidly due to very jacked up poachers. There are going to be children in this world who will not see a rhino in the wild if something is not done to protect these animals. This money will be raised in order to kit out the unit with a vehicle, radios, uniforms etc. The Save Valley Conservancy is located in the south-east lowveld, about 70 kms by road from the small town of Chiredzi. It was formed by many land owners joining together with a common purpose: improving and promoting wildlife management and conservation. Covering thousands of hectares this harsh lowveld area is ideally suited for wildlife to thrive, and with international backing has also provided an excellent area for the distribution and protection of endangered species such as the Lichtensteins hartebeest, the roan antelope, and especially the black and white rhino. There are rocky kopjes and riverine plains, mopane woodland and acacia thickets to be explored. Huge baobabs tower over the scenery and imprint it with their stark silhouettes. In each of the diverse ecosystems, you can experience the excitement of seeing the buffalo, the elephant, the impala, the rhino that all occur here. Traces of ancient culture are everywhere, trees grow out of granite built walls from ca. 14th century and nobody knows how old the few rock paintings are.
