Not a book either but you could easily make a folder tailored for your hunt by googling the name of the species you plan to hunt and printing the various pages. (Just an idea).

Use Enough GunI have one that is a few years old and is a good one. It is entitled: "Hunting Africa, A Practical Guide" by GP Swan, PJ Botes amd PL Smit. It is a South African Publication, but it is well written with lots of information and pictures.

My copy has just moved from the book case to my safe. It still has the cash slip inside, a whopping ZAR325.00

Use Enough GunYes, I seem to recall paying around $30 USD for mine! The Rand was 11 to 1 against the USD at that time. The book was highly recommended by my PH on that particular Safari.
