This is what I would like to do with mine, hope the taxidermist can do that. What I like most with it is that the head is low and easy to look at compared to others were the head is up.

christer,
how is that mount suspended? Is that tree around the neck supporting it. quite a neat idea for a wall donkey mount!

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! Alan Boyer, the propriator of A.F.Boyer Hardware in Slatington PA has a full body mount of a Giraffe in the hardware store.

you can literally walk into the store and not notice it as the body is actually above eye level for most people.
It's a VERY impressive feat of taxidermy, it is probably as expensive as it is impressive.

You can Go to Cabela's and see the Elephants, Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Lion, Polar Bear, Moose etc, but if you wanna see a full bodied giraffe you gotta go to Boyer's.

That mount is super! I was going to do my Stink Bull in a pedestal mount with the chest on a nice base, until I saw this! The only thing I don't care for is the way the back is finished. I'm doing mine with leather in a dark orange or med brown, not sure yet. But what a cool mount!! Cool

I was talking with alan, he told me about his giraffe, I need to get up there and see it!
