So what did you have the poor guy shoot?? It certainly seems to get his attention! Big Grin

Knowing your propensity to pranks, I would not be the least surprised if you had somewhat under represented the cartridge, which you "kindly" let your friend try out... Wink

Saeed, surely you have seen this happen before and I would think you would have added a padded floor by now. That poor fellow looked like he wanted to have a heart attack rather than feel the pain of the recoil.
Very funny reaction

Saeed,

I have another video that must have came from your shop. It was sent to me about 4 years ago in an email from one of my buddies. In this clip the guy actually fell down and the gun looked as though it broke the glass in the door behind him. I frequently go back and review the video when I need a good laugh.

After learning of AR and being on here for over a year now, I went back and watched it again one day and I thought I recognized you in the video. I've been enjoying your pranks for almost 5 years now and didn't even know it.

Do you have any other clips? Keep it up I enjoy it!!

Graybird, there are a whole slew of video clips of various people attempting to shoot the t-rex on this site under humor and videos. They are quite funny!

Maybe I'm just in a vapor lock this morning, but I can't seem to find the additional clips.
Can someone help me out please?

Thanks,

Graybird

graybird,

Scroll righty down to the bottom of the forums. You will see all our videos there.

Please read the instructions carefully and you will be able to see all of them.

You might wish to right click on the video, and safe it to your hard disk. That way you can watch it anytime you wish without being logged in.

You are VERY lucky you live in UAE ...

If someone tried that in New Zealand the wimpy wooly PC brigade would proberly get hold of a lawyer on the (public purse of cource) and prosecute you under the (human rights act) for endangering a citizens well being ..

They actually have a term over here they use in law called HURT FEELINGS, and yes people do get payouts and compesation for it ... Mad

Wonderful pictures, keep up the good work (-:

This is not that bad to shoot. For everyone who drops it, there are at least 20 who don't.

Saeed,
Or anyone, What makes that particular gun so hard to keep ahold? I admit the most "kick" I have ever felt was the 3-1/2" shotgun turkey loads. But in the videos is it the weight of the gun.. stock design? Just curious, not making judgement. Good for laughts though.

This is a standard Hannbal rifle from A-Square, and the stock is bloody awful. I think it is designed for gorillas not humans to shoot.

3 1/2 inch shotgun loads are nowhere near this one when it comes to recoil. I have shot quite a lot of these shotgun shells, as well as many large bore rifles like teh 460 Weatherby etc, and they do not seem to bother me that much.

But, I have only fired two rounds with this rifle, and I do not plan on shooting it any more.

I would be interested in seeing a photo of that cartridge next to a factory round of some sort (375 H&H ?) so I could get an idea of how big it is.

Wow! I do have one question, Saeed. When you do handloads for this monster, what powder and how many grains of it do you use? I assume the bullet is somewhere in the neighborhood of 550-600 grains?
Thanks,
George
