Yes I have hunted with Terry in the Chanjuzi and Nyaminga concessions in Zambia. He is a fine young man and an easygoing, easy-to-get-along-with kinda guy. He really enjoys buff hunting and sitatunga hunting in the Tondwa area. Your in good hands. PM me with any specific questions.

Terry and I with one of my Zambian buffalo. He is the young good-looking guy! Big Grin

Thanks bwanamrm, I've read your report. Don't imagine any one will unearth anything terrible, but I still think it's good policy to ask.

One question that might be of interest on this board: Did Terry ever talk about hunting sitatunga from a canoe?

Mark,

I'll do that.

I talked to Laura yesterday. You'll like talking to her for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is that it looks like you won the argument over sitatunga. When I mentioned my aversion to sitting in blinds, Laura said Terry has had some luck stalking them with a canoe. Paddling and hunting are my 2 favourite things, so we'll have give that a try.

Dean,

You've finally seen the light. I really am happy for you. A sitatunga is a very special trophy that you will chyerish. Once you see the set up you'll have no problem with the blinds. A couple of hours morning and evening with lots of birds and other game to see. Watching the dawn come over the swamp is just magic. The canoe option might be fun too if there is enough water left.

Terry is a young ambitious guy that is fun to hunt with. Full of P--s and vinegar. You can hunt with him anyway you want. I did a stalk thru a swamp, which was fun but only the second time it had been successful for him. Usually he takes his boat to get across the water to a machaan. The reeds are so high that i don't think you'd be able to see the animal from a canoe unless you count heavily on luck. (like me) The are 3 lakes in tondwa that hold sitatunga. I really did enjoy terry enough to request him for another trip with duploys next year
