I'm happy to say we now represent Johan Strasheim's Bahati Safaris in Mozambique.

Johan offers some unique opportunities such as being able to take hippo, croc and such rarities as red duiker, suni plus blue duiker on a short buffalo hunt. Lion or elephant (non importable to US) can be hunted on a 14 day schedule. Of course Mozambique is the only country that offers free range nyala and Johan has some excellent hunting for this most beautiful antelope.

Buffalo occur in large numbers in the delta and the hunt is quite unique.

A charter as mentioned below is necessary but it originates in RSA and takes you all the way to the Coutada with stops for customs. The price is round trip and can be split between 4 clients. This makes transit into and out of the country simple and not too expensive.

Of course Mozambique is the only country that offers free range nyala

There are some places in Zimbabwe and RSA where you can HUNT free range Nyala outside fenced Game Parks.

mbb,

You are right there are a few in Chewore Zimbabwe but I'm not aware of there being free ranging huntable nyala in RSA. I guess I should have said free ranging with a real chance at taking a very big one.
