Wow, they're making those critters faster and faster these days.

"The Siebel Systems software founder says the Aug. 1 attack occurred during a safari in Tanzania.

He says he and the guide were watching a group of elephants from about 200 yards away when one animal charged at them without warning.

He says he expects to make a full recovery after reconstructive surgery and physical therapy.

Siebel's estimated worth is $1.9 billion as of 2008."

"It is not known yet how much the damage will affect his resale value. Unfortunately, the current edition of "The Blue Book of Billionaires' Value" does not have a chapter on elephant damage assessment."

I wonder if Mr. Siebel can afford the hospitals bills. Wink

If we just had Universal Obamacare, he'd be taken care of with no worries.

If he lived in Canada he'd have to wait till the gov't agrees to have his

treatment start, and how fast it will progress, and how long it will continue.

A person is NOT allowed to pay for health care there, only the national gov't

is allowed to pay. So, TS, if he lived there, would have his broken/injured self

transported to AMERICA for faster, better, more complete care. That is until

BHO turns our system into what Canada's is.

Hope he makes a full healthy recovery.

Sometimes it is better to be a poor bubba bitterly clinging to his rifle (preferably double rifle) than a billionaire with a camera.

He told the S.J. Mercury-News that his "guide" took a shot at the Ele in charge, but missed or had no effect. Guide was also injured. Both suffered serious injuries and are lucky they survived. Long recuperation and more surgeries ahead; Tom is still in a wheelchair.

I wish them both complete recovery.

It was a hunting area and he is a hunter (I believe?), just wasn't hunting on that day.

Hey at least he isn't suing as many others have done before him Wink
