I rolled over to Cabela's in Ft. Worth and found they had only two boxes of Federal 375 H&H ammo, 300gr., Nosler Partitians, if I remember correctly. I went to D-Ray's in Dallas and they apparently are out of business. What's going on here? Last year McClellands had to special order since they were out. Are Federal 300gr. TBBCs becoming hard to get?

You can purchase them from Cheaper Than Dirt (on the internet), Midsouth Shooters Supply (over the phone or on the internet), and I believe, from Sportsman's Warehouse as well. I am sure that Midway also has them too.

I think they moved everything back to the original store in Oak Cliff -- Ray's. http://www.rayssportinggoods.com/ Found that out last time I tried to run by there as well. Edit -- I called and they do not have it in stock, said it would be a week or so. I buy a lot of things over the 'Net for convenience these days. ------------------------------- Some Pictures from Namibia Some Pictures from Zimbabwe An Elephant Story

Thanks Charles_Helm. I'll have to keep that in mind. I only have a week in the U.S. next year before leaving for Zimbabwe. I'll have my son get a box or two ordered a month ahead.

You might want to consider Barnes Triple X. I was a dedicated TBBC fan, but there has been much written in the last two years which seems to give the Barnes an edge. Kensco, I have a small stock squirreled away, if you get into a bind. Just let me know. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
