It's not just poaching that's a problem either.

Over the last year or two, the industry has seen a surge in enquiries from 'certain countries' where they want to fly in, shoot or often have the PH shoot the rhino and then take the horns and fly out.

Needless to say, it's illegal and any reputable company turns 'em down flat.

And there lies the big threat to hunting. When they can just fly in, pay the trophy fee, and fly out with there horn.

It shouldn't impact the conservation of the species per se. The anti's would probably love it.
