I hunted with them in July 14-24 last year. Temperatures were very pleasant but I almost froze in the back of the safari car one morning looking for kudu. I would say the coldest temps will be in the mid to high 30s and get up to near 70 in the afternoon. I would definately take a jacket, maybe a fleece jacket like I did. I would have been fine if the truck wasn't moving but the wind was cold. Sean runs a fine operation and I was treated very well. Food was great and the PH worked very hard for me. Who is you PH going to be? I envy you and wish I was going back. Maybe I will if I can put it together. And oh yeah, laundry service everyday, at least where I was. Doug

If you are going to be setting on a bait, in June, take a coat and warm pants. Coldest nights of my life were on a Leopard bait in June. And I am from Wy.

Take thick fleece pants and jackets. It is warm and QUIET in a leopard blind. Stuff with a synthetic shell will make that horrible swishing sound when you move. JMHO, JohnTheGreek

Unless Sondelini has been hit by poachers you will be in danger of being overrun by big kudu and sable....don't shoot the first one you see unless it's a monster.

Haven't been there before, but will be this year. Are you staying at Sondelani? Just curious as I will be arriving there on the 24th of May and staying through June 2nd or 3rd. With any luck I'll have an enormous kudu bull in the salt and can regale you with stories of his demise when you arrive! I set up the trip through Alan Kelly of Kelly's Africa Safaris, and will be visiting with him next weekend at a sportshow - will certainly ask him about the weather as I've been wondering the same thing.
