I have never been to Africa. I just read & chat and dream until I can go.

My Wolf publication mags like Rifle & Handloader have the ads of Kelley's Safaris which are so cheap compared to those posted here. How can they afford to offer an all inclusive elephant hunt for $15k & a leopard hunt for $8.5k?

Are they a reputed operation? Any comments or experiences?

I hunted with a safari operator that Kelly used to book for and even ran into Kelly in camp on my first safari. I have been back with them two more times but Kelly does not book them any longer. I don't know who his Zim outfitter is now. Personally I would book thru someone else and go with his old outfitter. I will not post any other info on a forum but there are some good deals to be had with other agents.

Run, Forrest, Run.

I booked a hunt with him in Zim years ago. As we got closer to the hunt, I started to hear rumbles about the outfit he represents. I pulled the plug. My buddy went, had a good hunt, but nobody turned the trophy fees over to Parks.

He lost all his trophies.

Too many good operators around to take that kind of chance.

Good luck

Interesting.....I am surprised that they are advertising in Rifle magazine for a long time & have not updated prices!!! I emailed them & asked for info about outfitter, PH, block etc. & got a reply that the mag must be very old & that their current rates are 2k to 3k more etc. & that Namibia is a mess and that they have no rates yet for 2011 etc. No answers to most of my questions. Then he tried to sell me a PG hunt. I replied that I have the current issue of the mag & his prices are not up to date in the ad. I said that I wanted his info to compare with what I can get on AR etc. The fact that they spend the money on ads without checking if they have up to date info is not a good sign!

Thanks for the replies above!
