Scotty, I have gone there also and found no one home. I guess it is hard to start a conversation with ones self, but the up side of that is it is usually a very good conversation, eh.

How many guys even know of the Chat Rooms? Maybe I'm just an ignoramus, but I never even knew about them.
Perhaps Saeed could arrange a chat icon which appears continually on whatever page you are looking at, which draws attention to the Chat Room, and who may be on? Just a thought.

I didn't either for the longest.. Since I stumbled into "discovering" it, I peek in there periodically and have yet to ever see anyone in there.. hence the question.
Click on the "Go" button on the top left side of the forum menu. A drop down menu should come down with the choice of Chat Room being the last of the choices. Click on it. Once in the chat room, a number of diff chat room topics are available.. African hunting, general hunting, reloading, etc.. Click on the room of your choice and BS away with whoever happens to be in there at the same time!
I went when it was first set up, and there were a few people there; since then it is like you said, nobody there. Maybe I will check it out again. I think it would be fun.

Gave the chatrooms a try-out today and have an a great talk with Andrew McLaren...
I say we all start using it!

I think part of the problem is that there are a lot of talkers on this forum, but damn few real listeners. A chat implies that each person gets to talk.
I prefer to state my opinion or ask my question, in written form, and move on. I've got a life. Call me anti-social.

according to Kensco, you'd better move on and "get a life".
I'm sure most all of us have responsibility and "a life".. Last I checked, I have a full plate most every day. Poke my head in here when I can and am free.
One last, just for your info, as you prefer to state your opinion or question in written form, please do share as to how different a chat room is?? Is there some secret AR microphone I'm missing here? Last I checked, written form was pretty well established in a chat room.
Moving on..
I think we should start using it more often (minus Kensco, of course)..
