I need help. I completed the Dutch transient gun permit form based on an example my outfitter provided. The sample did not include any ammo it just listed rifles. However, the application form does look like we should include the ammo we are carrying as well.

I need the vast knowledge of the AR forum here ASAP so I can get the ap FAX'd. What has been your experience and recommendations.

Thanks, D. Nelson

50X ; Ammunition ; 470 NE ; 3 Kg

should be enough.

I can ditto what has been said about listing the ammo on your Consent Form Application when traveling through the Netherlands. I am leaving in about a month for Tanzania. I sent my consent form without the ammo listed. After reading the posts on this thread, I called the Netherlands Customs Service this morning and they verified that the ammo must be listed. I was really gratified to hear from the man I was talking to that he would simply add the amount of ammo I was taking to my application.

Thanks
