Well were off and on the way, myself and 3 friends, one of them also is from here on Accurate, to the RSA. Will be there for 2 weeks. One of the guys will be using a bow and the rest of us rifle. Will be hunting with one of my outfitters, Stormberg Elengani Safaris. Were taking HD cameras for footage for this years video. I will post now and again and try to keep up to speed. It only took 4 1/2 hours to get to the airport, a normal 2 hour trip, as one of the guys forgot his ticket and we had to go back and find it. But you know getting there is always half the fun. We are going on SAA. I have not ridden them in 15 years, so I am looking forwrd to see how the service is since the good ol days. I hope they have cleaned up their act since all the stink last year with the "Cattle Car" Air Buses. Talk to you soon, our flight has been called.

Yesterday my client AustinHunter took a 44.25" Cape Buffalo and today he has taken a 29.5" Nyala. We are off to the Eastern Cape now for plainsgame and assorted things. I will post pictures when I get to a faster internet connection.

We are back. We took some 30 animals with 21 kills on film. We hunted in 3 lodges and were overwhelmed with comfort and professionalism. The Stormberg mountains are wonderful this time of year. I am going to leave the hunting report to AustinHunter. My only animal this trip was a Mountain Rhebok which came in at 8.5" aside and nice hard thick bases. On a side note for our trip I opted to travel with the PH's from Natal to the Cape by car. We passed through the Trans Sky area and this was quite eye opening. A great stripped landscape with many shacks. This area is so fertile looking and nothing there. Oh how 14 days goes by so fast.

Good hunting and God speed!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Bob,

That is a fantastic mountain reedbuck. Sure don't find them on every mountain slope!

A hearty congratulations to you and your PH!
