I'm ready to have my trophies shipped from Namibia to the U.S. Is there a preferred receiving agent in the Dallas/Ft Worth area who can receive the shipment and handle the paperwork?
Thanks

I used Coppersmith in Dallas and had no problems.

After my shipment cleared I just drove down with my pickup and picked up my crate at their facility.

When I was in the trophy export business in Zambia I used Coppersmith and they never once let me down even if some of my paperwork was not up to scratch.

Prof- let me offer you my advise as I have had 2 shipments personally and assisted a few friends on my trips.

1st who's the shipper out of Namibia, I've used IFN and so have all my friends, and with good service.

I've used both coppersmith and flora/fauna.

IFN allows for ocean shipment through Fauna/flora in Newark, takes roughly 6 weeks, but it saved at least 6-800$. So if you can wait an extra month, I would head that route.

Coppersmith is fine, but the airfreight charges are nuts...is cost a factor?

Have had three shipments from SA. The first two were fine, but the thrid shipment was through Coppersmith, through Chicago, and it was great.

I would use no one but John Meehan at Fauna and Flora. If you want to save on unnecessary costs they are the guys to use IMHO.

If I were you, I would do it myself! It is easy if you don't have warthog or any primates...then you need Dept of Ag abd ka licensed taxidermist. there is another extensive thread on this topic right now...
PM me if I can be of assistance.
