I spoke to Lou Hallamore and the folks at Trophy Room Books. Lou's classic "CHUI" is going to be reprinted this fall.

Trophy room books advised they will send me an e-mail when the book is available.

Yes he published "In the Salt" around 2005. I picked up a copy from him at the HHK Booth at the SCI convention. I think it was 2006 or 07.

After four safaris with me, alas, the frowardly dullard being I am, Lou is now writing a new book about the experience. It's titled In The Toilet. Big Grin

Seriously, though, having spent hundreds of hours bumping over bad roads with the Master, I know there are a few more books in the guy. I hope he writes them before all that knowledge and experience is lost.

In the meantime, my daughter and I are looking forward to July and another much needed dose of great stories of a vanishing Africa related by a legend who truly has been there and done that.

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Not suprised to see a Lou Hallamore thread.
I have hunted twice with him over the years and enjoyed every minute of it.

I hunted with his son Clive on the Humani in '96. It was a leopard hunt but sadly I don't think the 21 year old kid had read his dad's book yet ... Confused rotflmo
