Ok, I will be the first 1. Be nicer on posts and not jump to conclusions about you guys. 2. Assume you guys are as good of a guy as me and not get defensive about a post. 3. Relax about life a little more - assume the best about people and not the worst. 4. Remember advice given to me by a driller in Papua New Guinea - "If they can't eat you, don't worry about it." In New Guinea, they can eat you, so this was good advice. 5. Take my kids hunting in a new far away place before they grow up much more. 6. Spend money now rather than leave it to my wife's next husband (a joke only, she swears I am her last husband, but you never know). 7. Try out some new guns, just for fun, in new calibers. 8. Shoot a double rifle to see what all of the fuss is about. 9. Don't buy a new car - not worth the hassle and I don't have to worry about dings. 10. Take more digital pictures of everything - just for fun. 11. Learn to play a video game that my kids play. 12. Watch more goofy TV shows - just to see what the kids think is funny. 13. Grow a mustache - just for fun. 14. Teach the dog a new trick - something really stupid but cute. 15. Swim a mile or two - just to see if I can it again. 16. Get a universal remote for the TV, DVD player, VCR, Digital TV tuner - and learn to use it. 17. Learn to post pictures on AR. 18. Read fun books on subjects that are fun. 19. Go to the Grand Canyon. 20. Fly kites at the beach. Your turn.

I lost a half dozen good friends and co-workers this year for a variety of reasons; all younger than me. SCARY! I vow to let work take a backseat in my life, enjoy myself more, and spend more time with the family. Make some serious contacts at Reno SCI for a return to Africa.

To try to treat my friends and coworkers better: we don't live long enough to count on making amends. To try to take advantage of any opportunity in Africa to hunt SOMETHING... before the opportunity goes away (thinking of the news from Zimbabwe). Now if I could only get the info I need to arrange with an outfitter... Dan
