Himself!

He came in this afternoon while I was exercising. I watch a movie while doing that.

He sat down, and got hold of one of those arm exercisers that you hold the end of in each hand and pull either in front of your chest or behind your shoulders.

You know the ones, that used to be made of several springs strung alongside each other.

Well, this one has rubber bands instead of springs.

He did the usual, by pulling them over his shoulders, and in front of his chest.

He then sat down on a chair, clipped the ends of this contraption over each arm rest, with the rubber bands passing behind his neck.

He kept leaning backwards, stretching the rubber bands.

I saw what he was doing.

Me "If one of those ends slips, you will get a nasty whack!"

Walter "Don't worry about me, Just keep exercising, One day Roy will lead you up mount Kilimangaro!"

A couple of minutes later, one end slipped, and there was an almighty THWACK! as the end clobbered him on his ear! Luckily, the handle is made of rubber covered plastic.

I laughed so much I had to get off the stationary bike!

We have a saying in my business - Make something "foolproof" and only a fool will use it.

I think that applies in this case.

The way he shoots, he might as well be blind!

He actually came up with a fantastic idea yesterday.

We got into an argument we visit very often.

He wants to take his Blaser to Africa, and I have vetoed that idea. Still, he keeps asking on a regular basis, knowing that the answer would stil be no.

Yesterday he said he will take just the stock on his Blaser. And he would drop it in the back of the truck. Because he wants it to have "safari" dents and scratches like my rifles!

I offered to dent and scratch his stock right here. But he has refused to let me do that!

Some unfortunates are cross eye dominant...others are just plain cross eyed!

Many years ago I was using some of these in the old spring variety, one end under foot doing forearms curls (?) or whatever you call them. The end under foot slipped out at full stretch....... Eeker Eeker Frowner
It seemed terminal at the time but having successfully sired three boys since, I'd have to say it wasn't. Wink
