Saeed,
Very nice. Where and how do you go about procuring new additions for your zoo? Seems like pretty soon you're going to be giving a regular zoo a run for its money . . . all you need is an elephant.
Actually, I have friend who believes we do have an elephant. He only comes here at night, and each time I offer to take him out to him the elephant he refuses.
He says, I will do something to annoy the elephant, and then runa way, leaving him at the mercy of the elephant!
So nice to have trusting friends!

tiggertateVery cute. A month or two feeding on dog food and they should make
very good gumbo.
"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
Excellent photography! What camera do you use? Have you tried the digital SLRs?

The photos above were taken with a Nikon D300 and a Nikon DX18-200 VR lense.
It was quite late in the day, and the little babies would not sit still for a minute.
I had a job keeping away from them, as they like to climb on top of me.

Outdoor WriterSaeed,
They look something like meerkats, but I haven't seen them with spots like that. Maybe there's more than one variety?? Or maybe young ones, like deer fawns, have the spots??

Use Enough GunVery cute, Saeed! Is this "Meercat Manor"-Dubai edition? One of the meanest critters that I have ever come across in Africa was a meercat. It had been domesticated when a baby, had been neutered, and was lying on the top of a couch near a window, getting some sun in my PH's friend's house. It only liked certain folks and the PH's friend told us to be very careful around it. We later went outside to have lunch in the yard, and he threw some food on the ground. His 6 dogs went for the food at the same time that the meercat did, and the meercat had the dogs howling and running for cover by the time he was finished with them. Needless to say, he got the food-all of it!

CrazyhorseconsultingThey are interesting little critters.
We had a small group at the Fort Worth Zoo when I worked there, I worked with them a little.
They rwmind me of a ferret in many ways except for their eyesight.
One day as I was passing by their exhibit, I noticed the one that was acting as the look out was watching something up in the sky.
I kept folloking its line of gaze, and finally spotted a Red Tailed Hawk circling over that part of the zoo, about 3 or 4 hundred yards high.
Ferret does good to see 2 or 3 feet in front of its nose it seems like.
Congratulations on the aquisition.
Even the rocks don't last forever.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Alaska HunterSaeed,
Wow - what a joy to have those fellows as buddies.
I could probably sit there for hours just watching.
Great adoption on your part.
