Jim, Too cool. I hadn't seen your story before. I'm sitting here in Iowa with about an inch of ice on the roads from a weekend storm, and looking forward to a foot of snow tomorrow night. As you might expect, your story takes me back a few months when I was lucky enough to see a leopard a couple times during our stay at Dingwall, and get a picture of one damn nice giraffe. Thanks for the memories! Jeff

Hi Jeff: I did the story of the Black Bull for a few friends that wanted it, I guess I never posted it here. We haven't got blasted yet here with snow in The Northeast of PA. As far as I am concerned it doesn't have to snow at all.. I have a Glossy 8X10 picture of my Bull you took on the end table of my trophy room. Still waiting for my hides to come in. Did you guys get your hides yet? Let me know.. Regards... Jim P. The Hunters Hut Firearms Sales & Service PAHunter/ The Head Hunter DRSS,NRA,SCI,NAHC www.huntershut1.com

Great Story! What part of Zim were you hunting in with all the great sable? My guess it would be south, due to the extreme cold. Dak

Hi Dakota: Yes you are correct... It was two hours south of Bulayao. Let me tell you it was LOADED with Sable. I think because the trophy fee for sable is so hight that it turned a lot of hunters off. But you had your pick of Black or Brown Sable and there was more than a few way over the 40 in. mark Regards.... Jim P. Hey Jim, Haven't got any hides or horns yet. We made a couple phone calls/e-mails at Thanksgiving and found out our stuff, along with the stuff from most of the others who hunted in May/June, was at the freight forwarder - in this case a place called CargoAir. I checked in with our booking agent to get the skinny and he mentioned there are two freight forwarders in Bulawayo. They use one for awhile and get ticked, switch to the other and use them for awhile until they do something wrong...back and forth. Kind of like my experience with insurance guys - work with one until he takes my business for granted and doesn't watch to make sure I'm getting good rates, so switch to another... At Thanksgiving they said they estimated 4-6 weeks to take care of paperwork. Considering the accuracy of African estimates, the different timescale there and my perception of Zim government policies being "open to interpretation", I figure double or triple that estimate and we might have stuff moving in February or thereabouts. Best, Jeff
