Two really exceptional trophies taken in the last few weeks

Gavin Hume (Hunters & Guides Zambia) and client took a 50 inch Sable in Western Zambia

Jeff Rann and client took a 95x91lb elephant with 88inch long ivory in the Nata area

Who said the golden era of safaris was over?

Very well done Gavin. Tremendous length and height on those horns.

There is some awesome trophies coming out of the Kafue this year and I hear another brute of a Lion has just been taken in Lunga Luswishi.

Bryan thanks for posting the pic of the sable, i have been out hunting so you beat me to it. The same client also shot an absolute monster leopard! I dont have access to the pics from Rann but i heard via a friend who is related to the Rann family and got a call from them to tell the good news. I am sure pics will surface on the web soon
