It definetely is not easy.... as stated, horns are thinner and the bosses not as pronounced. If you are close enough, you should be able to see "something" between the legs on the males although this can be quite challenging. If they are in a herd, they also have a slightly larger body size and are heavier set than the females. One mistake that people often do (me included) is look for the penile sheath but not as easy as it sounds as females also have a small projection around that area which can be mistaken at a distance for a penile sheath.

Like zebra, the more oyu shoot the easier it gets

It can be difficult but the female's horns are thinner than the males.
