I haven't heard much talk about these bullets. My dad used them in SA last time we went and killed a big Eland with a 300 win mag and 180gr bullets. We recovered one that was a perfect mushroom. Has anyone else used them much for larger game like Cape buffalo in 375 and larger?

Why would one choose a fusion bullet when federal load their version of the Trophy Bonded Bear Claw? which is a darn fine bullet - tried and tested.

In my (limited) experience the fusion opens up like the german evo bullet- and more than something like a Norma Oryx.

NB- I use Speer unbonded 270grn El cheapo bullets for eland from my 9,3. I use only the best when after dangerous game!

I don't know what bullets they use but in a recent add they showed they had added the 375 H&H and one of the 416 calibers, probably the rem. mag. I thought it curious that on their muzzle velocities they loaded the H&H with 300 grainers down to 2,400 ft/sec. instead of the usual 2,530 ft/sec.

It could be they are having a problem with the bullets holding together and are trying a slightly lower ft/sec as a solution.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.

Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.
