OK, so it's not a hunting video, but I thought you guys would appreciate this. She sings like an angel, and nice photos of some days gone by.

Yes. The pix appear to be from the 50's and 60's. It certainly isn't the same place now. Nothing but chaos and shambles. The Brits and the US can be proud to have supported a movement that was several generations premature. They birthed a monster. How is that informing current US foreign policy?

With apologies to Brice.

Dam...Imagine how hard that would be to watch if you had lived there in that time and still lived there today. Jimmy Carter and Great Britain "allowed" it to become what it is today. Anyone notice any similarities to Detroit. It was a nice city then too.

A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Great song. Heartbreaking pictures. "Progressive" thinking made Zim and Detroit what they are today.

I just ran across this post from a few years back, and thought I'd dredge it up to the top. If you haven't seen or heard this, it's worth a look.

Neat video Marty. Thanks.

Funny billboard Lane.

In the video there is a statue that looks to be of Cecil Rhodes. Is this the pedestal where the current Julius Nkomo statue in Bulawayo is now?

No need for them as there's not much to fill them with. The colonials and their capitalism have all gone. coffee

That was in Burkina, Jon.
