The problem is the buffalo is TO BIG to put on the screen. But you can size him at 1024 x 768 by editing the pic.

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

True that. There are some cracker buffalo bulls being shot in Zambia this year!

Id say 2 different bulls, so you need to go back and get the live one on your next trip..Both good bulls but Id opt for the live one.. dancing

Zambia is due for big buff is my guess, they have not been heavily hunted for several years Im told.
Zambia sometime back stopped hunting and wouldn't let money go out of the country, and lots of folks got burned on deposits, and it left a bad taste..

Hopefully all that's been settled, but the good side of that may be the buffalo had a chance to grow..

Just my guess, in that I had some clients booked there, but fortunately my PH lived in RSA and owned some land in Zambia, but the deposits were in an RSA bank and all was well for my part. Others were not so lucky. It pretty well exposed a corrupt gov. of the time.

Hopefully, that will never happen again.
