Well it has been 11 months since we have seen our African animals. Now they are here and everything arrived in very good shape. Reiser Taxidermy out of Windhock Namibia did the Dip and pack and tanned our rugs and back skins. They did an outstanding job. Everything was pack really tight and put away so good. I would defiantly recommend Reiser. Our taxidermist was impressed as well.
In all we received 14 animals in the crate. Now comes the fun part in deciding the poses and how we want everything mounted. here are a few pictures of our unpacking. For me it was better than a Christmas morning.

A Zebra rug. Hard to beat!!! Very nice. I need a couple of those but the wife would not be happy where we have a zebra rug and bear rug on the floor. If she only understood.

I am trying to convince her that the stairway leading upstairs is part of the basement as well and therefore is game to having mounts put on it. Always a battle. I keep telling her, how many husbands would travel half way around the world to get souvenirs for the house. I just get the eye roll and told whatever makes me feel better at night. Smiler
