I've just booked my flights with Emirates, flying from Birmingham International UK via Dubai, Lusaka and onto Harare. I will arrive on the 20th August and overnight at Amanzi Lodge and drive to camp the following day. Hunt starts on the 22nd.

I'm doing a ten day hunt out of two camps, Pedza or Mururu and Matombo and Dean will be my PH.

It's been too long since I was last in the Zambezi Valley so it will be fantastic to be back. Hopefully I'll get to meet a couple of AR members while in camp.

With kind regards
Mike

Best of luck Mike!

Mururu is my favorite hunting camp and Matombo is the most scenic camp at CMS in my opinion.

We were at Karunga in Dande East early last year, roads to North were still impassable. Lots of Buffalo in the area, could have shot one 30 minutes into our hunt, on our arrival day. Lots of Buffalo and a very nice camp. Good luck!

I agree 100%. The last time I was at Matomobo was back in 2013 with my dad and brother. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how the camp is now. I will be packing swimming gear Smiler
