I wonder which part of Africa he was from. Where was he relocated to? Was he successful in hunting for himself and breeding? In the 1970s an Indian aristocrat living in a remote area near the Nepal border acquired a Siberian tiger cub and raised it (named it Tara) and then released it into the wild. The genetics were wrong and that was not a good decision. Soon it became a maneater and was destroyed. I grew us with a host of wild animals as pets since my dad was in Forestry and wildlife with the government. We never had the big cats. I personally believe that rehabilitating such pets in the wild has a lot of risks and is rarely successful. One rarely hears of the failures and tragedies like the Tara example above. Naki, Humans have little to no ability to teach and hone the instincts of animals. We have become too far removed. Hell, we barely teach other humans how to behave. Now, I find photo 5 interesting. Who plays football in python boots? Interesting article. How times have changed. Jeremy | |||
