Desert Ram,

Do you recognize the rifle in the sable photograph? A certain 300 Win Mag should come to mind....

Bill, those are some great trophies! Looks like you guys had a grand time over there. I hope to return in the future with my wife and kids. My first (and only so far) is only 18 months, so I have some time to save.

Again, congratulations on a great hunt with the family.

I thought I would add a few more pictures...

You may notice in the giraffe picture that the bush is a wee bit dense in this area. This was more difficult hunting for giraffe than I anticipated, which I actaully enjoyed.

The hippo required a significant canoe ride through hippo and croc infested water that clearly had the potential for problems. Fortunately we weren't "bumped" while out riding in the canoe.

Billy was able to take this zebra with his trusty 30.06. He was really pleased with this zebra stallion.

Gail looked for a waterbuck for a while before selecting this animal with a crooked horn. Although I was disappointed with this feature, she liked it, so who am I to complain!

I took this tsessebbe about the same time Gail shot the waterbuck, but many miles away on another portion of the property. This was an old male (teeth), which I was happy to take.

Kenny worked hard for his warthog, and though the pictures shows the tisks poorly, he was an old hog with heavy, though somewhat "broomed" tusks.

Overall, a good trip, that we will all remember for many years. Go out and make a few memories of your own!

Bill
