Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Have a great time. Say hi to Stu for me. I hunted there last year with Johnnie Johnson for lion. Never saw one but had a great time. My hunting partner had Stu and they did great together.

Good luck. I am Alaska Hunters partner who posted here. I did great with Stu, give him my regards. Put pictures up as it is nice to see familiar territory and people we have met.

Good luck Andy!
I'll be heading off myself Sunday to SA, before driving up to eventually hunt in Cabo del Gabo.

Cheers

Hi all,
thanks!
I'm now back in the main camp of Kambako Safaris in their Niassa concession.
Will leave tomorrow to return home via Pemba and JHB.
Most of my 10 day hunt we spent in a more basic tented camp at the Lugenda river.
As ozhunter mentioned we have been very lucky.
Beside some plainsgame we have been able to track and shoot a lone dagga boy right at the begin of my hunt.
Old, good bosses and a spread of 45.5 inches.
Will post a pic asap.
Later on we shot an old, dark grey-blue Eland bull.
All in all I had a great hunt with Stu Taylor and Kambako Safaris.
First class area, first class outfit and first class PH.
Will post more after my return home.
Rgds,
Andy
@alaska hunter and universalman: I gave your greetings to Johnnie and Stu. Same back!
