Jimmy: go to his website. In it you will find a letter of recommendation I wrote on his behalf. Suffice to say, I've hunted with him twice and I'm booked for a third. There are others here as well who've hunted with him. if you want specifics, PM me and i'll give you my phone number or just do a search on the hunting reports for my last hunt. jorge

You cannot do any better than John Sharp. My hunt with him last year was a dream come true. 1st class PH, camp's and staff. You will see plenty of game everyday. Same comment as jorge, see his web site, you will also see photos of my hunt with him last year. I too am planning another hunt with him in 07 or 08. Any questions send me a PM.

Forgot to mention he has a booth at SCI's covention in Reno, could you plan to go in January and meet him. Also notice you are in Atlanta, I am just south of you in Jackson, can send my phone number through a PM if you want. I have plenty of PICTURES that would show you his hunting areas, game and camps.

Jimmy -
I don't think you could find anyone better to hunt with than John. I did my first Africa trip (plains game) with John in 2002 and had a super time. See John's website for my reference letter along with Jorge's.

Once the season is over John is very easy to reach via email so I'd encourage you to start a dialog and let him know what you are looking for. Bob's suggestion about meeting at SCI in Reno is excellent as well. If you are not able to meet in Reno, I'm sure he would call you while in the U.S. during the show season.

John is a great choice - you will be well taken care of and have a super hunt.

jim, I got back from a hunt with John 2 months ago. John was fantastic. He got me in the right place and at the right time to get my leopard, Cape Buffalo and Kudu. I will say this about the area that he hunts. There are huge Kudu running all over the place. His camp and staff are 1st rate ! My report is in the hunting reports sections! Good luck!
