While I can't imagine voluntarily watching the Golden Globes, I was interested to read that "Ricky Gervais Slams Woke Hollywood's Sanctimony in Golden Globes Speech"

This buffoon never stops his emotional babble about hunting in Africa, but is happy to (rightly) slam other celebrities for their rants. I am sure the irony is lost on him. Surely one of the hunting organizations can call him out on this utter bullshit.

Anyone part of the Hollyweird crowd is nothing but an idiot!

They like to dish it out, but are unable to take it.

I doubt any of us actually watch awards shows; I certainly don't, but I do like Ricky Gervais. He is an equal opportunity offender of all Hollywood/liberal sacred cows.

Gervais is absolutly on target when he said - "You're in no position to lecture the public about anything," said Gervais. "You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg."

Why anyone hero worships athletes, actors, and media darlings is beyond me. They've done nothing meaningful in life other than glorify themselves. Most are nothing more than uninformed fountains of liberal/progressive/socialist bullshit. Who gives a flip what they say or believe?

Yeah, I didn’t join in on all of the high fiving and carrying him around on everybody’s shoulders like he is some kind of a hero just because he told off his fellow egomaniacs. Especially since what he has been doing to hunting and hunters over the past few years. He can go to hell!

Good one, Slider.

I didn't watch it either but it was really good to see that the show's host lives in the real world. Will he ever get that gig again?
