Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

Opus1Good points all. The problem is PHASA and many within the hunting community are willing to throw lion farming under the bus in hopes that the anti hunters will stop their attacks on the industry.
Good luck with all that...

The antis will never stop, once there is hunting they will turn all into bloody vegetarians!

Big Wonderful WyomingI am getting another degree in college right now, and I used the canned lion issue as a topic in a recent paper and forum post.
Every single student in my class wrote at least 200 words on praise or hate. It was interesting to say the least. We'll see how the grade goes on it this week.

You guys always talk about the antis. Problem isnt convincing the antis, they will never agree to anything since they are mostly crazy. People we have to convince is the average joe. Canned hunting is the one of the worst points for average joe. Even black rhino hunting can be explained, I did at my work. Canned Lion hunt can`t in the same way. Read the myths earlier, good luck with those points!! The world will agree with you now

Opus1You understand that lion farming is not canned lion hunting right?
Further, as we have seen time and time and time again, hunting pictures and videos plastered all over social media
by hunters is doing far more damage to the public sentiment regarding ANY form of hunting.
So trying to single out lion farming isn't going to win any battles or PR campaigns.
